Irrespective of geographical location worldwide, extremes of weather is a global phenomenon and all living and working environment within the building needs ambient temperature. Moreover, buildings like cold storage, auditoriums, ware houses, Industrial & Commercial Buildings requires insulation for maintaining ambient temperature. The conventional Insulation material like Thermocol, Glass Wool, Mineral Wool, PUF, Styrene Foam Sheets were used according to different application but one thing in common was its higher thicknesses ranging from 40mm to 200mm. Fixing of above insulation material was very labour intensive with tedious fixing methods.
Technically insulation can be classified into three different types, CONVECTIVE, CONDUCTIVE and RADIANT. All conventional insulation material like Glass Fiber or PUF can prevent the thermal/ heat penetration through CONVECTIVE or CONDUCTIVE types, which works on the principle of reducing the rate of transfer, hence requires higher thickness for insulation in extremes of temperature or harsh weather conditions. Thus higher the insulation thickness better you get the resistance against the unwanted heat gain or loss. Unlike conventional insulation material, ALUMINUM BUBBLE FOIL HEAT REFLECTIVE INSULATION MATERIAL works on the principle of heat reflection i.e. radiant heat is reflected back into the atmosphere and prevents it from entering inside the enclosed building.
The Roofclad insulation is available in Single & Double Bubble reflective insulation material, which reflects upto 97% of radiant heat and provides excellent insulation environment in all weather conditions. Depending on the application and requirement, the thickness of ALUMINUM BUBBLE FOIL HEAT REFLECTIVE INSULATION MATERIAL varies from 4mm- 20mm only. This reflective insulation material is very light in weight resulting in ease of application and saving substantially on the covered space.
Single & Double reflective insulation material consist 1 or 2 different layers of air bubble insulated and sandwiched between aluminum foil. Such combinations provides excellent Thermal resistance by reflecting radiant heat back to the source and thus avoid unwanted heat transfer in all weather conditions.
Advantages of Reflective insulation material

2. Can be applicable in both hot and cold weather conditions.
3. It can be applied to fill the sealing leaks, gaps and air penetration. It blocks the airflow by expanding in small and tiny places.
4. Reflective insulation material also works as semi- permeable vapor resistance material. It has higher permeability standards than plastics and other sheeting material.
5. It can be applied to fill the wall cavities in finished and under constructed walls.
6. It serves as an ideal insulation material for acoustic insulation.
7. Due to its flexibility and ease of fixing, is useful where other filling materials cannot reach like tiny gaps in joints and rafters.
